CTF is a private not-for-profit organization founded in 2000 to provide residential, counseling, therapy services, day training, and community outreach/advocacy services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Starting with an initial 10 CILA homes and one DT program in East Central Illinois, CTF has enjoyed significant growth over the past seven years and now provides services and supports at 22 CILA homes and 5 DT programs throughout the state, as well as counseling, therapy, Home-Based and Intermittent CILA services to adults and children with developmental disabilities and delays throughout the state of Illinois.
CTF’s DT programs serve approximately 300 individual at five Illinois locations: two in Charleston, one in Lawrenceville, one in Olney, and one in University Park. Programs are tailored to each individual’s needs and include activities that address independent living skills, personal goals, vocational training, and more.
CTF provides residential services to 175 individuals living in the following 22 Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes that are integrated into Illinois communities: one in Atlanta, one in Sumner, one in Mattoon, one in Chicago Heights, one in Homewood, one in Flossmoor, one in Crete, one in Country Club Hills, two in Lincoln, three in Park Forest, and nine in Charleston.
CTF provides Home-Based and Intermittent CILA services, counseling, therapy services, community education, screening, and outreach programs for children and adults throughout approximately 17,000 square miles of the State of Illinois.
